In this article, I am going to share few step you can follow to learn on how to play the guitar. All step provided is just a suggestion and you can choose all or any of it. Here we go.

1. Tuning a guitar.

Before you start learning how to play the guitar, you need to get the guitar tune into the right tone. In order to do this, you might need another guitar with the right tune or a piano. As I am alone at my house so I don't have any extra guitar or a piano. So, you can refer to this website to find the right tune for your guitar. How to tune guitar. If you don't have any idea to tune into what tuning mode, just select standard tuning.

2. Learn basic codes.
Before you playing a song, I would be best if you able to hold codes using your fingers. Learn how to hold codes A, B, E, F, G and C. These codes is called major codes. After you get used your finger on all of these code, then find a song that use this codes and try to play. This might be your first song and you will remember it forever. I suggest you to search around YouTube to find simple song to play or you can try this song Jason Mraz - I'm Yours at YouTube.

3. Learn how to strum the guitar
The basic guitar strum is down stroke and up stroke. Normally, 4 basic strum is DDDD (Down, down, down, down) or you can mix it with down and up stroke, so it will be DUDUDU. At the end, the guitar strum is depend on the song you will be play. So, listen the song well and try to strum comfortably

4. Practice, practice, practice
Don't stop playing. In order to master in playing guitar, you need to learn the codes and playing in your style over and over again. Some times, holding a code might be difficult for you as a beginner, but do remember, nothing easy at the first attempt!
